Who was the most DOMINATE player in NBA History?

I have to say Michael Jordan..... Why?

NBA Titles %26amp; NBA Finals Appearances:

6 - 6: MJ is THE ONLY all-time great who have an UNDEFEATED RECORD in the NBA Finals. He also never went 7 games in the Finals. All the other All-Time Legends have LOST/ and some went 7 games in the Finals. The fact that MJ never lost or let a series go 7 games shows how much more DOMINATE he was in the NBA Finals then the others. Russell may have more titles but he have a LOSS on his Finals record %26amp; he's also been in a bunch of 7 game series. Michael Jordan was MUCH more dominate on the biggest stage of them all.

Who was the most DOMINATE player in NBA History?nba champs

Michael Jordan was the most dominant player in NBA history and no one else comes close.

Who was the most DOMINATE player in NBA History?basketball shoes ,nba teams

Shaq. In his prime, the next best player was tim duncan and he was better by a lot.
MOST DOMINANT EVER IS WILT!

NOT ONLY DOMINANT IN BASKETBALL COURT... BUT ALSO IN BED!

MORE THAN 100 WOMEN SLEPT WITH IN HIS ENTIRE CAREER!

PERIOD.

^_^
Without a doubt, Wilt Chamberlain, the NBA made several rule changes because of his dominance
Youre missing the BIG picture here.

Russell has 11 rings in 12 finals appearance in 13 years.

Jordan has only 6 rings in only 6 finals appearance in 15 years.

Who is more dominating again? Remember the 1958 Finals loss to St. Louis is due to the fact that Russell injured his ankle in the series.

Thats nothing. Players in the 50's and early 60's regularly play with a flu, with a cold, with an injury etc. It was once surveyed that of the 80 (or so ) players in the League, around 33 or almost half the NBA players were nursing an injury or an ailment. It was an era of long, monotonous, cheapo train rides and back to back to back games in 48hrs. There were no team physicians or personal trainers in those days.

Anyway, Russell won a championship with a BLEEDING eyeball.
KING: "I'd rather be someone who's great at REBOUNDING and SCORING" ......

Wilt Chamberlain:

30.1 career points per game

22.9 career rebounds per game

Michael Jordan:

30.1 career points per game

6.2 career rebounds per game

Gee KING, it sounds like you just answered your own question.....unless you're a HYPOCRITE .....lol

The fact that "THE BULLS" never lost or let a series go 7 games shows just how pitiful the league was in the 1990's.

And thanks to Scottie Pippen bailing out Jordan ( after Jordan was getting torched by Magic) on defense, and the fact that 2 out of 3 of the Lakers stars were injured, the Bulls were able to win in 1991.

Jordan's playoff record without Pippen: 1-10 (that's one win and 10 losses!!).

Now get back in my pocket you dumb b@stard!!!!!

And BTW....that so called "flu game" was staged for chumps like you to enjoy!!
Wilt Chamberlain = the most dominant scorer!

Bill Russell = the most dominant winner!!!!!..11NBA Title to Jordans measily 6 in the watered down 90's...lol.....

Is Jordan the best shooter ever to play the game? No.

Is Jordan the best defensive player ever to play the game? No.

Did Jordan win more championships than anyone who ever played the game? No (not close, actually).

Is Jordan the best passer ever to play the game? No

Is Jordan the best ball handler ever to play the game? No

Is Jordan the best dunker ever to play the game? No.

Did Jordan play in more all star games than anyone who ever played the game? No

Was Jordan the best 3 point shooter ever to play the game? No.

Is Jordan the best rebounder ever to play the game? No

what exactly is Jordan the best at again?

Queen - MJ is more dominant then Wilt????....

once and for all!!!!!!!........... Wilt is simply the greatest scorer ever. Jordan fans will claim that because Jordan averages less than 0.5 points per game more for his career, this makes him better. However, they don't consider that Jordan didn't log in as many career minutes, nor as many minutes per game. When both men put their minds to scoring, it's not even close. Wilt once AVERAGED 50.4 ppg. Jordan's best season is 37.1 ppg - a number Wilt bested on 3 different occasions. Jordan never had a 70 point game. Wilt had 6 games with at least 70. Wilt's best game is 100 points. Wilt won 7 consecutive scoring titles, which is the same number as Jordan's best streak. The only reason Wilt quit winning scoring titles is because his coach asked him to pass off more (Wilt was already in the top 10 in the league in assists). Wilt gladly did and he and 3 of his teammates each put up over 18 ppg the next season, on their way to the title. Wilt has almost 80 more games with 50+ points than Jordan. Wilt also holds the record for most free throws made in a game (28), most field goals made in a game without a miss (18), most consecutive field goals without a miss (35), best field goal % in a season (nearly 73%), most times leading the league in fg% (9), most consecutive games with 40+ points scored (14),

He won seven scoring titles, 11 rebounding titles, and led the league in minutes played 8 times. He averaged over 45 minutes per game every game of his career. In 1967-68 he led the league in assists 鈥?something Jordan has never came close to doing. Chamberlain holds the records for points scored in a season and a game (100), rebounds in a game (55), season, and career., as well as minutes played in a season (he averaged 48.5 min/game in 1961-62), and field goal percentage in a season (72.7%).
Michael Jordan lost EVERY series he played against Larry Bird. Bill Russell NEVER lost a game 7 or a game 5 in a 5 game series. That's like calling Lenny Wilkins (a great player %26amp; coach) the winningest coach in NBA history. Red Auerbach would have to coach for 8 years and lose every game to tie Wilkins for losses. Jordan was a great player but he was not as successful as Russell. BTY Shaq had the shortest "prime" of all mentioned To Thomas - Chamberlains "other" record is much more enviable than "air" anything
wilt chamberlain

they had to change the rules because of him
i agree with you and i think lebron will take over at the end but micheal jordan for now. all of you that say wilt chamberlin have you ever heard of air chamberlins ummmm no air jordans!
Most Dominate physically: Wilt Chamberlain

Most Dominate in terms of overall skill and talent: Michael Jordan
Wilt Chamberlain
I cannot belive that no one has mentioned Shaq. First off all Wilt was great but he was 5 inches taller then everyone else he played against. And i'm not talking Yao Ming vs Dwight Howard I'm talking like Lebron James vs someone whose 7'2. If you look at Shaq he got fouled almost 95 percent of the time. If the refs called a foul on every play and he could shoot 100 percent from the line there would be no way to stop him from scoring. You could put 2 points on the board automatically if he could do that. That being said he couldn't. Jordan dominated men he made them look like boys. I've never seen anyone be more dominate on both of the ends of the floor AND like you said on the biggest stage of them all. Thats the most important thing. I agree with you nice argument and nice points you made.
That would have to be your mom JDW!

JDW SUCKS!!! KING SUCKS!!!
michael jordan, no other player like him in history.
WRONG LIKE THE OTHER STUPID KINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WILT CHAMBERLAIN WOULD RIP JORDAN APART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BILL RUSSELL, He may have lost one series, but he did play in 12 series more than twice as many. HE would be the best person of all time to stop Jordan in his tracks.Bill Russell won 11 championships with the Celtics in 13 seasons.

Wilt Chamberlain, 100 points in a game, 50 ppg in one season, NBA had to make so many rules to stop him from being dominant but it did nothing, even after he was traded to the Lakers, he was still the best even though old
